The Mumbai Police have recently registered a new case related to the firing incident outside actor Salman Khan's residence in April. They have arrested a man from Rajasthan, identified as Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar, 25, from Bundi, on charges of criminal intimidation, according to a crime branch official. Gurjar allegedly uploaded a video on his YouTube channel where he declared his intention to kill Salman Khan. In the video, he claimed to be associated with notorious gang members like Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. The official stated, "Gurjar said, 'Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and other gang members are with me, and I am going to kill Salman Khan as he did not apologise yet.'" ALSO READ: SHOCKING! The video was reportedly made on a highway in Rajasthan before being uploaded. Due to the severity of the threat, a police team was dispatched to Rajasthan for investigation, resulting in the arrest of the accused. The case is now registered at a cyber police station in Mumbai. The official added, "We are checking if the accused, Gujar, has any previous criminal background. He has been arrested under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 506(2) (punishment for criminal intimidation) and provisions of the Information Technology (IT) Act. In the early hours of April 14, two men on a motorbike fired multiple rounds outside Salman Khan's residence in Bandra. Six people were arrested in connection with this incident. Among them, Anuj Thapan reportedly hanged himself in police lock-up on May 1. Additionally, the Navi Mumbai Police arrested five individuals, including an alleged member of the Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs from Haryana, for plotting an attack on Salman Khan. Police revealed that four gang members had conducted reconnaissance at Khan's farmhouse in Panvel, his Bandra home, and locations he frequented for film shoots.




Lawrence Bishnoi is currently held in the Sabarmati Central Prison in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in a different case. The Mumbai police plan to move the court to seek his custody. Meanwhile, Bishnoi's brother Anmol, believed to be in Canada, has been listed as a wanted accused in the firing case.
